Baked in a 13×9 -in. casserole dish, this mouth-watering apple crisp serves 12, making it ideal for large dinner parties or holiday gatherings. Old-fashioned oats mixed with sugar and cinnamon evenly coat the tart apples, creating the perfect balance of flavor and texture. One can only hope there will be left-overs, but don’t count on it! Pick up a gallon of apple cider as this recipe calls for it, and warm up the rest for a perfect hot beverage pairing.
Let’s hear it from our friends over at Taste of Home:
I made this recipe for a work function. Everyone who tried it loved it. I got numerous compliments. It was easy to make, and quite tasty. The most difficult part was unwrapping the caramels. I added additional caramels on top, in the future may drizzle with caramel ice cream sauce.
